Det er da lidt interessant, at Fender fører så relativt overbevisende både her og i guitartråden. Det kunne være sjovt med et bud fra fx Funkis på, om det stemmer nogenlunde overens med hans oplevelse af salget i en musikforretning? Det kunne også handle om, at Fenders produkter er af en så tilfredsstillende kvalitet, at de simpelthen "overlever" længere hos hver ejer - forstået på den måde, at de billigere instrumenter (som der vel reelt sælges flere af), ender i storskrald? Eller ender hos guitarister, der ikke er på gearfreak?
